It’s a rare tumor called Pseudomyxoma Peritonei, also known as jelly bag tumor, in which the patient suffers from saggy bags of fluid and tissues around body organs. It’s unresponsive to normal cancer treatments. The man was in a chronic stage with nausea, no appetite and urination difficulties with fluid bags hanging outside the body. The surgery was risky that lasted 14.5 hours removing about 13 liters and 3 kg of fluids and tissues. He is recuperating well.
