Stomach cancer also known as gastric cancer, occurs when the cancerous cells gets formed in the inner lining of the stomach. These cells turn into tumor and make the condition severe over the period. The major kind of this cancer is adenocarcinoma wherein cancer develops in the mucus producing cells that covers the lining of stomach. This disease is difficult to detect in the beginning hence the diagnosis gets delayed.
CAUSES –

- Pre-existing Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
- Smoking
- Obesity
- Highly smoked and salt-rich food
SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS –
- Severe stomach pain
- Fatigue
- Continuous vomits
