Ginseng is sold as a herbal supplement, derived from the herb that is popularly called Anchi Ginseng, among other names. This drug has not been proven to be medically effective in treating conditions, but alternative medicine has witnessed Ginseng in the treatment of low blood sugar in patients with diabetes type 2, ADHD, breast cancer, other cancer-related conditions, memory loss, anemia, insomnia, bleeding disorders and digestive disorders. It is believed to improve athletic performance.
