Colorectal cancer or colon cancer is the type of melanoma that begins in the large intestine of the stomach, which is basically the ending part of the digestive pathway. The statistics says in India, it is the third most common cancer in women and fourth most in men. The causes of colorectal cancer includes inherited gene mutations, age, inflammatory intestinal conditions, African-American race, smoking, obesity, diabetes. The symptoms includes rectal bleeding, weakness, change in bowel habits and weight loss. Colon cancer could be treated by surgery, immunotherapy, chemotherapy, partial colectomy, radiation therapy for initial stages.
