Leukemia Disease is the cancer that is affecting an individual in every 3 minutes in the U.S. About 60,300 new cases had been estimated for 2018. Leukemia is defined to be the cancer that is initially seen in the bone marrow of the blood and later on spreads to other areas as well. The WBC’s are the ones that gets affected here. The symptoms include swollen lymph nodes, anemia, loss of appetite, skin rashes, stroke and further. The causes and risk factors are found to be smoking, hair dyes, artificial exposure of radiations, viruses, family history, and petrochemicals, etc. The treatment includes biological therapy, chemotherapy, radiation therapy and target therapy, as per the stages diagnosed.
