National Cancer Institute (NCI) is India’s largest cancer-focused multi-specialty hospital which when fully operational will be the nodal institute for any cancer studies, treatment etc. It becomes the center of the network which comprises all the Regional Cancer Centers (RCC) and other related institutes. By the end of construction, NCI will have fully functional OPD services, admission to beds, state-of-the-art laboratories that can test 6,000 samples a day, expensive radiation, X-ray devices etc. It’s the country’s largest public funded hospital at 2,035 crores and aims to be a one-stop hospital for all cancer related problems at affordable prices.
