Warning! Recent study regarding items containing sugars, both natural and artificial, has shown some alarming results. The sweetened drinks that get the likes of our taste buds tend to harm our blood sugar regulation system. While fruits and foods containing natural sugar i.e. Fructose shows no such harmful effects. According to a study published in journal BMJ, artificial sugar added products provide a much higher risk of Diabetes and Heart diseases. Researchers commented that fruits containing Fructose have low Glycaemic index {GI} compared to other carbohydrates. Moreover the high fibre content of fruits also improves the blood glucose levels.
